I had the pleasure of filming a segment on the dying honey bees I have observed and collected off the Ottawa River this past 2 years in September. This is a new phenomenon and a hot button environmental topic as 1/3 of Ontarios bees disappeared last year.
As a bonus story we stumbled upon 2 kayak guys catching a 30 lb class musky and got great footage and conversation of the biggest fish these guys have ever caught. How lucky was that for a find on your way home from a 1 hour tour when you just happened to have a media guy with a camera in your boat. This will be the closing segment of tonight’s Ottawa News.
Tune in to CBC Ottawa News at 11 pm tonight, tomorrow morning, or tomorrow at noon. If you miss this you can find the video and stories on CBC.ca.
I will also publish a detailed story about my dead bee collection and the concerns over massive bee die offs that are happening on an unsustainable scale on Facebook tomorrow.
