It couldn’t have happened to a nicer guy and good things come to those who wait. August was another stellar month with lots of fish and some great big ones too.
A little bit of musky guide burnout has limited my energies to catching and taking pictures but we will once again flood Facebook with tales an pictures of giants. There are no less than eight posts coming. Birket Foster is not only a great guy and my Facebook guy, he has been hunting with me for a decade now.
This fish was caught casting in the dark where all you know is there is something really big on the end of your line and PLEASE don’t let it come off. It didn’t and the result was Birket’s best yet. Congratulations my friend!
Birket’s fish was a long one and a spectacular fish of a lifetime….. but it wasn’t the biggest fish of the month! Stay tuned. Also, the release of The Musky Boys Ottawa River trip a few weeks back will happen shortly. We filmed 9 fish over two days including 3 giants and a double header of gorgeous and rare spotted pattern muskies!!
There is still time to book your fall trophy hunt. Our big girls start putting on a up to a pound a week over the next couple months. We are also offering ‘Hunt for the Record’ trips out of Kingston and Gananoque starting later this month.
