Musky Season Preparation & the Valley Sportsman Show in Carp

Hi Everybody,

I have been hibernating and prepping for the upcoming musky season over the past month and am now officially finished neglecting my Facebook page and back to regular posts.

This weekend I will be giving three presentations on muskies in our region at the Valley Sportsman Show in Carp. Topics covered include the resource in our region, Muskies Canada as a source of learning, 10 baits you need to have in your tackle box, and how moon peaks work. Presentation times are

Friday March 27th at 7:30 pm
Saturday March 28th at noon
Sunday March 29th at 10:30 am

I brought in a couple hundred Spanky Baits for this show and will have them for sale and on display at my booth. I also have 24 AWESOME shirts from 50-Inch Apparel for sale. These won’t last long

Stacy Ash from Pro Tackle will have a huge collection of musky gear that we don’t get to see here in Ottawa at the show as well.

And if you can’t come and see the Ottawa River Musky Factory at the Valley Sportsman Show you can watch us on The Fish Finders on WFN this weekend. A show we shot on the Ottawa last summer where we boated seven muskies in two days will air at the following times:

Friday @ 7:30 pm
Saturday @ 3:30 am
Monday at 10:30 am
