Alan Gibbins wrote a nice piece on WFN about the last day of our 3-day shoot on the Ottawa River. He shot some great stills of a very rare 51 1/4 inch pure spotted musky from the Lower Ottawa. This gorgeous trophy came on only the fifth cast of the morning too! Check it out at:

There is still no release date for the show but it will be announced shortly and should air soon. I will let you know when it comes out. We were lucky enough to cast up two late season 50s for the show so it should be a good one.
As I look out into the fog created by the last of the river icing over completely it is becoming clear that the 2013 musky season is officially over. What a year it was! I will send out a slide show recap shortly but before I do there is one more musky story to tell about the last fish of the year who swam gracefully back to the depths this past weekend.
