There are no muskies in Connecticut. That makes it an unusual state in the modern day as muskies have been successfully stocked into over 30 states and ‪#‎musky‬ fishing is rising in popularity.

Maybe Bob felt the calling because of the legend and lore of the biggest baddest fish that swims in freshwater in Canada (sturgeon are not a ‘bad’ fish), maybe it’s all the spectacular footage online and on TV these days. Whatever the reason, I think it is safe to say that Bob will be the musky champion of Connecticut this year.

Oh, and Bob got to watch this fish destroy his surface bait 10 feet in front of him. Maybe it’s the memory factor of ‪#‎muskies‬ that brought him here. You never forget catching giants at your feet or watching them crush baits in front of you.
