Blues skies, sunshine, warm breezes, and eagles flying. These are not always the best musky days but when you get all the majesty of the Ottawa River and three nice fish, it’s a very good day. When two of those are fish your first muskies and one of them is a lifetime personal best, that’s a great day.
Rolande bought her husband Paul a retirement gift and decided to come along for the morning session of our day. She never thought she would like it so much that she would voluntarily join us for the evening session along with Papa Pete and end up in a couple of ‘best ever’ photos with big fish.
The morning provided a couple of entertaining top water misses and a couple of nice fish that didn’t miss the bait too. The evening session was only five minutes old when 80-year old Pete caught his biggest musky ever and Pete lives on the Ottawa River!
