You can never make new old friends. That’s why they are so special.
I spent a day out on the water with two guys who have been my friends since high school, Andy Shanks and Mike Northcote.
It was a great day of conversation, catching up, congratulating Mike on his recent marriage, chasing muskies, and the best sunsets of the month so far.
This past week also featured some of the best sunsets of the summer. The sky was on fire and makes chasing Ottawa River giants even that much more special.
Nice fish Andy!
