In May I had the pleasure of speaking to the Kawartha Lakes Chapter of Muskies Canada in Peterborough. What a rewarding experience it was as I unexpectedly walked into a crowded little room that was packed to the rafters and buzzing with electricity.
After decades in Muskies Canada I can tell you that chapter enthusiasm and involvement comes down to good leadership and Mike Walsh and his executive are clearly creating an exciting club as they have grown into the largest chapter in the country over the past couple of years with over 100 members.
With musky world royalty like Stacy Ash (Pro Tackle), Sean Maher (Hose Baits), Johnny Dadson, Tony Galluci (Beaver Lures), and many more contributing to the learning, friendship, and environmental Stewardship that Muskies Canada provides it’s no wonder they have become such a positive force in such a wonderful and famous musky region.
