This past week I had the honour of filming two of the three tv shows we scheduled for this summer way back in January. It’s nice when a dream, a plan, and luck conspire to make something very special happen.
We had the most rain we have had this year in two giant dumps last week and the river was not at its’ best. And yet, somehow the muskies were still willing to play with us enough in the dirty water. Colin McKeown of the New Flyfisher and I found a school of muskies and had 12 fish up on flies in 5 hours. That story about the most expensive muskies on the fly show ever shot and the most musky action Colin has ever had, will come later in the week but I really want to share this picture with you.
Jim Saric is a gentleman, a consommate professional, and an outstanding flag bearer for the musky world. His magazine and his television show set the standard and are the bibles of addicted musky chaser. In a sometime twilight zone world of characters, egos, eccentrics, and liars, he is the shining beacon.
Thanks Jim.
