Hi Y’All,

It seems I have been nominated for Angler of the Year at the upcoming Faces Magazine Ottawa awards. It is a very nice honour and puts me alongside great company like Big Jim McGlaughlin, Colin McKeown, Paul Shibata, Rob Jackson, and Ashley Rae.

It is wonderful to see fishing getting the recognition it deserves. Not only does it contribute hundreds of millions of dollars to the Eastern Ontario and Western Quebec economies, it is a vehicle to create quality time for families, friends, and even in business relationships. Imagine your kids putting down their electronic devices, talking, laughing, learning about nature and wildlife, and making memories that will last forever for them and for you. What could be better.
