Musky guides are lucky because we get to spend lots of time casting with our guests. If you think ‘lucky’ means endless hours throwing 1/2 pound lures, reeling as fast as you can while you continuously scour the water for muskies that aren’t there, then you too are a musky chaser.
A good guide fishes used water or water that is not in focus by the guests looking to contribute an extra fish for the team or learn a technique or try a different colour lure that the team is not currently using to help everyone add more fish.
